This restaurant was on my wish list for years, and they finally came to the northside! I’m so glad I went and got to experiencing the amazing flavors. They have been providing to our city for so long the service was top tier! She was very young at the front, but she knew what she was doing and was very helpful. The restaurant was very clean and a cute. Atmosphere. Definitely new face. Please be gone back and with all my friends.
Stopped in for lunch when I was in town for work. I had a friend recommend this place for something different. I was there right as they opened so it was empty. You order at the counter and then they bring out your food. I went with the brisket smoke show bowl and a side of curry creamed corn. Both were awesome. I don’t eat much curry but the green curry in the smoke show was so tasty. It seems weird but it paired very well with brisket. The brisket was very good on its own but when mixed with the curry and rice it was a hit. The creamed corn was also very tasty. The only small complaint I have is the seats are not comfortable at all. Overall, it was an outstanding meal and some different than what I have ever had. I will for sure make a return visit.
Have returned to this restaurant several times and they are always adding new items! The food is amazing and unique, with bold and entertaining flavors. I suggest the new pork belly appetizer. And the curry smoke show. This time I tried the nachos and the new pork belly and J sandwich w cold noodles as a side. The nachos where balanced and had a nice kick at the end. The pork with them was tender and juicy. The pork and J sandwich was amazing the pork tender and juicy and the peanut jam was so flavorful and had a pleasant kick. I will definitely be back soon!
COOLEST PLACE EVER IN SAN ANTONIO, trying new things it’s scary😂 but trust me this one is amazing with all the letters we try the smoked pork belly & massaman curry (special of the day) and the brisket smoked show 10/10!!! PLUS THE CHERRY ON TOP, the cashier/server (CAT❤️) was amazing she explained everything even the story of the place so we were lost at first but once she explained everything it felt like a warm hug😍
I can't believe there aren't more restaurants serving Curry BBQ. I had the Brisket Green Curry bowl and it was an amazing combination of Smoky, Savory, Creamy, Coconut-y and salty. I also had the Slaw for a side and Ube Cheesecake for dessert. All the food was incredibly tasty and original. I'm sad that I don't have one of these back in Dallas where I live .
Decided to try the location closer to our house after a great experience at their St Mary’s location. We had the pork nachos and the Brisket curry bowl. Both were amazing and the meat cooked perfectly.
Delicious food! I had the Pork Belly Paradise. The staff were very nice and helped me with the menu for my first visit. Nice decorations all around in a nice building. Will definitely come again to try something new!
Had the Brisket Smoke Show at Curry Boys BBQ and it completely caught me off guard, in the best way possible. This is something totally different. You’ve got perfectly smoked brisket, sliced thick with that classic bark and tenderness, sitting over jasmine rice, finished with a green curry that ties everything together. I added the smoked chicken as well, and it brought even more depth to the bowl. I’ve had a lot of BBQ, and I’ve had a lot of curry, but I’ve never had smoked curry before. The way they blend Texas BBQ smoke with Thai-style curry is incredibly unique. The smokiness doesn’t overpower the dish, it actually complements the curry and makes every bite more interesting. The textures hit too, tender meat, fluffy rice, fresh cilantro, crispy shallots. Every bite is layered and balanced. Super creative, super flavorful, and honestly one of the most interesting dishes I’ve had in a long time. This isn’t just BBQ, it’s a completely different experience. Highly recommend if you want something beyond traditional barbecue. Back-to-back dinners and somehow each one topped the last. 🔥 The Tony Porker pulled pork with added brisket plus the Pork Belly Dunkers absolutely delivered. The pulled pork was smoky, tender, and packed with deep oak-smoked flavor, while the brisket added that rich bark and melt-in-your-mouth texture. But the real surprise was the Pork Belly Dunkers, crispy edges, buttery soft inside, with the sweet chili glaze, Thai basil, and lemongrass BBQ sauce creating this insane mix of smoky, sweet, savory, and fresh flavors. Every bite had crazy texture and layers of flavor that just kept building. Definitely one of the most unique BBQ meals I’ve had in San Antonio. 🔥🍖.
Really great fusion food. The brisket and green curry bowl is one of the best dishes in San Antonio. The pulled pork bowl with the panang curry was also delicious. The flavor profile of a bbq / curry bowl is unique but the best thing is how well they balance all the flavors. Shoutout to Devon at this location, made us feel SO welcome, gave us recommendations, and really took care of us. Can’t wait to come back.
